Frequently Asked Questions

If I am interested in having you photography our wedding what do I need to do?
It is important to first check and see if your wedding date is available. This can be done on-line at our calendar. To reserve a date a deposit it required. In addition, it is suggest to set-up an appointment to view our portfolio and ask any question you have.

Do you travel?
Yes, we are willing to travel anywhere in the world to photography a wedding. Please note our packages already include up to 100 miles roundtrip from the photographer’s home base.

I am interested in something a little different than the available packages?
Don’t worry we are able to add additional items to any of the package and customize it to suit your needs. Just give us a call or set-up and appointment to discuss your particular interests in more detail.

Do you have backup equipment?
Yes, we always travel with backup of equipment in a compact system on wheels (thank goodness for my back). Anything can happen (and has – ask me for some stories when we meet) but with the proper backup equipment we are always prepared.

Do you use digital or file?
We only use professional grade Nikon digital cameras.

Do you require a meal?
Yes, please feed us, I am amazed at how tired and hungry I am at the end of a day photographing a wedding. The vendor meal is more than sufficient.

Will you visit my site before the wedding?
Yes, if you are not familiar with your wedding or reception site we will visit it before your wedding day.

Can you help with recommendation for other wedding services?
Yes, we would be happy to recommend other vendors for planning your wedding. You can find a number of our recommended vendors under or “links” page. If you have something special you are searching for just talk with us and we may know a vendor that can help.

How would you describe your style?
Snap Apple Photo is a blind of photojournalism and traditional photography. We work with every couple to understand what is important to them. About 2 months before your wedding we will develop a complete shoot list and time line to ensure we do not miss anything important. Although we make sure to cover all the requested photographs on a shoot list we also like to work in a photojournalism way where we simply capture the moments as they happen. We believe the photographer should not feel like an intrusive and capture the story and the moments that unfold on your special day. I love it when a bride says “I did not even know you took that photograph.”

How many photographs do you take at a wedding?
We typically photograph between 800-1200 images at a wedding although we do not limit ourselves. We always have backup equipment to take over 5,000 images. After the images are edited you will see all of the best photographs.

When do I get my photographs back?
Typically by the time you are back from your honeymoon your photographs will be ready for you to view.
